Feedback Wanted

Many thanks to the many faculty and staff members who were involved with Senior Project 2008. From Mentors to the many who attended the Senior Project Exhibit, each and every one of you contributed to the positive final experience for the seniors who participated.

There were a number of changes in the expectations, structure, and management of Senior Projects this year. If you were an Advisor, Mentor, or Sponsor to a student we would really appreciate any constructive criticism you might be willing to share. We would also like to encourage Senior Project Committee Members and people who attended the Senior Project Exhibit to send along suggestions and feedback.

Click on the Comment button below to leave your words. And please let us know your connection to Senior Project by participating in the poll to the right. Check all that apply.

Thanks.

  1. One thought I have and even asked a few seniors, is requiring all seniors to do a senior project.

  2. I thought the amount of work you, Michele, did was evident with the accountability required of each student. The blogs were great and offered the students a routine to follow as they reflected on each day, then each week. The exhibit was a great way for all to see the different types of projects and the thoroughness which most put into their work. The students I spoke with found the experience positive as they were then able to consider whether they'd like to pursue work in the field which their project covered. I was impressed with the seriousness the students approached the whole process with and was not disappointed with the work which resulted. I would like to have seen Britt's self-evaluation before the committee meeting so I could have been better prepared to ask questions. Shirley
